  • Take Action To Make The VA Safer!

Take action to make the VA safer!

It has been clear for years that the VA doesn’t listen to front-line workers — and that is damaging the care that veterans receive.

At a tumultuous time for essential health care workers, we deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Many of us have risked our lives to serve veterans during the pandemic. Yet, the VA continues to ignore our concerns around safer working conditions, telework, and more. Management dismisses us and treats us as expendable.

As front-line workers, we deserve better. Demand more from the VA: sign the petition supporting a fair contract that ensures the rights that we’re long overdue.

We cannot stand for this any more. For years, VA management has tried to illegally impose its anti-employee management edicts in place of one of the largest union contracts in the country. Instead of trying to negotiate with us on the terms of our contract, they have attempted to force the contract’s provisions onto us. They have trampled over our rights as workers and silenced any dissent. United, we are 260,000 strong, and we will not be ignored.

Take two minutes and join our call for a safer VA,

Ben Speight and the AFGE NVAC Crisis Response Team
